Certified Nurse Aide

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, the Certified nurse Aide will perform a variety of patient care functions within the parameters of their training.

Education:
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent and meet the Illinois state requirements of the Certified Nurse Aide Registry through completion of a CNA course or equivalent and registered with the state.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Position Summary:
Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols. Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, adjusting treatment plan accordingly under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Adheres to department policy regarding time frame, appropriate form and content of written rehabilitation documentation. Communicates effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts. Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.

Education:
Up to one year in a hosptial setting. A. A Degree & licensed in the State of Illinois or pending examination as new graduate. Occup. Therapy Assistant-IL&WI. CPR certification.

Communications/Staffing Clerk

Position Summary:
Demonstrate ability to effectively operate hospital based telecommunications systems. Provides telecommunication support to patient, staff, physicians and community. Responds to and reports telecommunications equipment failure. Daily job performance is focused on professionalism and best practice. Performs other duties for specific operating unit telecommunication department.

Education:
Experience in Telecommunications1 to 2 years . High School diploma or GED. Distinct English, Basic Keyboarding, good hearing and excellent customer service.

Clinical Lab Assistant

Position Summary:
Performs proper specimen collection, by confirming patient ID (utilizing 2 patient identifiers), collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing venipuncture/capillary techniques, and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results. Ensures/provides quality specimens for laboratory testing. Provides customer service by answering broad technical questions and directing others to appropriate resources. Manages specimen accessioning accurately to provide quality specimens for laboratory testing. Performs billing and registration procedures accurately and efficiently in order to ensure regulatory compliance. Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others to optimize job performance and foster working relationships.

Education:
Previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment. H.S. diploma or equivalent. Familiar with computer, computerized equipment, organization and team skills. One year phlebotomy experience or enrolled in MT/MLT program. Prefer graduate of clinical laboratory assistant program or CLSI accredited phlebotomy program.

Position Summary:
Ensures food is cooked and recorded to proper temperatures according to State and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points regulations. Prepares food according to recipes and follows standard cooking methods to produce a consistent product. Utilizes proper handling techniques to ensure cost control is enforced and to effectively reduce waste. Maintain the work environment in a clean and organized manner.

Education:
High school or GED. Food Service Certification or Take course within 90 days of hire. 1-5 years on the job cooking experience.

Shift:

Director of People Services

Position Summary:
Uses knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices and trends affecting Human Resources to ensure proper interpretation of employment related laws. Tracks and maintains on-going figures pertaining to turnover and exit information by utilizing monthly logs. Notes trends and advises managers on appropriate measures necessary to solve problems in areas affected by data. Applies professional/technical knowledge, skills, experience and judgment to achieve excellent customer service. Updates Employee Handbook and educates Management and staff on new rules and regulations. Understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies, practices and procedures to interpret and articulate to management and staff. Recognizes and responds to employee needs (in alignment with cost containment efforts) to increase employee satisfaction and retention. Consults with Executive Team to facilitate effective communication of Human Resources strategy and philosophy to maximize employee satisfaction and retention. Education:
5 years experience in private or public sector with an organization having a sound and comprehensive personnel program, preferably in hospital health care. Master's degree in human resources, personnel management, industrial relations or business administration with courses in labor relations, statistics, psychology and accounting. Periodic seminars and workshops in personnel matters, particularly on legislative matters relating to personnel. MS, MBA, PHR required, SPHR preferred.

Position Summary:
Ensures/provides quality specimens for laboratory testing. Operates systems/methodologies in order to produce timely and accurate data for patients, QC, and proficiency testing. Reports clinical data accurately and efficiently so that care givers receive timely patient information. Maintains systems to ensure maximum up-times. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards in order to satisfy compliance requirements. Overviews daily operation of department/section for optimum operation.

Education:
General laboratory experience within an accredited laboratory. Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) program. A.S. or B.S. in sciences, MT(ASCP) or equivalent. Familiar with computer, computerized equipment, organization, team skills.

Position Summary:
Ability to interpret and transcribe medical dictation by all physicians to provide a permanent record of patient care. Meets quality and productivity standards. Operates designated word processing, dictation and transcription equipment to complete assigned duties.

2 years experience in a hospital, High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology and Completion of Certified Transcription Program.

MRI Technologist

Position Summary:
Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards and acts as a resource to radiography students and other technologists, to ensure optimal department functions. Administers sound patient care practices according to department and hospital policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of the patient. Demonstrates magnetic safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff. Maintains equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and employees. Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations

Education:
Recent hospital experience preferred as a MRI Technologist. Effective verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required. Graduate of an accredited school of radiography. ARRT or other appropriate certification required. Additional registry in MRI strongly preferred, CPR licensed in State. Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required.

Position Summary:

Education:
One year experience in a hospital setting. Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed in State of Illinois or pending exam as new graduate. Basic computer knowledge, proficient in English verbal and written skills. CPR certified.

Position Summary:

Education:
Recent hospital experience preferred as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Echocardiography and Vascular experience strongly preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. RDMS or RVT or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must obtain registration with ARDMS within 12 months of hire date. Effective verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Capability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekends when required.
