St. Mary's Hospital is one of 13 Hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin affiliated with Hospital Sisters Health System, Springfield, IL. The Sisters began their healing ministry in 1887 in Streator and St. Mary's continues to meet the healthcare needs of the people of Streator and the surrounding communities.

The Hospital boasts many modern healthcare technologies including CT, MRI services, ultrasound, and PACS system in Diagnostic Imaging. In addition to primary healthcare services, the hospital offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, along with speech and hearing services.
