Conveniently open seven days a week with extended hours, St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa offers a staff of highly trained medical professionals, including Dr. Richard DeAngelo and Dr. Ted Patras, both board certified in emergency medicine* and trained to handle a wide variety of health conditions and situations. Both Dr. DeAngelo and Dr. Patras are committed to offering the highest level of quality and compassionate care to their patients.

If you think you have a broken bone, St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa diagnostic imaging services can treat you without an appointment and save you the time and expense of an emergency room visit. In addition, St. Mary’s Health Care’s medical laboratory provides convenient testing not only for patients being treated at the facility, but for anyone who has a physician’s order for a lab test. The physician does not need to be on staff with St. Mary’s, all physician orders will be accepted. St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa is a great alternative and timesaver for patients who need lab testing done on a regular basis.

Automated Pharmacy
Patients of St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa no longer need to worry about the struggle to get to the pharmacy to pick up their prescription after their doctor’s appointment. InstyMeds, an automated pharmacy, provides a way for St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa patients to fill their prescriptions before they even leave the building. InstyMeds functions as a type of ATM for medications. When one of the physicians at St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa writes a prescription, InstyMeds will dispense the correct amount and dosage of medicine for a patient. This feature is only available to patients of St. Mary’s Health Care–Ottawa.

St. Mary’s Health Care—Ottawa serves as one location for St. Mary’s Occupational and affordable occupational health care services to help meet the needs of employers and employees in the Illinois Valley.
